Hosted by Alicia Keys, the Grammy Awards 2019 took place at the Staples Center, Los Angeles, last night. While stars had attended the 61st Annual Grammy Awards in order to celebrate the work by some of the world’s best-known and talented musicians, many people from across the world were taking note of who wore what. Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, and Michelle Obama, for instance, found themselves on the list of the best dressed attendees at this year’s ceremony. However, others seemed to miss the mark when it came to style.
Cardi B, 26, left some people rather surprised, as she stepped out in a blush bodysuit and oyster-style dress.
The outfit, by Mugler, had a black exterior and fishtail design.
But, at her waistline, the gown splayed out around her in pale pink ruffles.
Wearing numerous pearl necklaces, as well as a sheer nude number underneath, this garment made a nod at a type of clam shell.
Her sister, Hennessy Carolina, had an equally interesting wardrobe choice.
The 23-year-old stepped out in a tiny orange garment, which had a blazer cut, and huge statement sleeves.
While she certainly stood out on the red carpet, Kylie Jenner seemed to be turning heads – although it possibly could have been for the wrong reasons.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, 21, wore a rather unique pink jumpsuit, which had a cross-over design and built-in gloves.
The very unusual sculptural outfit also had a chunky white and silver belt at her waistline.
Toni Braxton also made headlines due to her rather outrageous outfit.
Except for a pair of nude knickers, the American singer songwriter, 51, went braless in an entirely see-through gown.
The sheer get-up hugged her body, and had been embellished with a purple glittery pattern.
No stranger to wearing unique statement pieces, Katy Perry also stood out for her daring wardrobe choice.
This time around, the 34-year-old stepped out in a pink ruffled gown, which dropped to the floor in a tiered design.
It had a pink and silver ombre strapless bodice.
